Piedmont Harvest Festival Edible Contest Entry Form
Edible contests have been a part of the Piedmont Harvest Festival since the beginning in 1998. They showcase, for the appreciation of all, the amazing diversity of fruits and vegetables grown in Piedmont, and the talent of our residents in preparing and preserving these products for their families and friends.

Eligibility
Anyone who lives in the City of Piedmont may submit an entry. Entries may be done by individuals, households, neighborhoods or groups.

Rules of Entry
Any item submitted for consideration in a growing category must be grown within the borders of the City of Piedmont, CA. Any item that is submitted for a cooking category must have a main ingredient that could feasibly be grown in Piedmont. The actual ingredient does not have to have been grown within the borders of Piedmont. Items submitted for display only are not limited by the above rules.

Non-residents are welcome to join the fun by bringing items for display only.

Number of Entries
Any number of entries are allowed in each category by individuals or groups.

Submission of Entries
All entries must be delivered between 7:30am and 10:00am on Sunday, September 18, 2022. Please bring your completed entry form (or proof of digital submission) to the Community Hall.

Use one entry form for all entries and be sure a label is securely attached for each entry.

Labels for items in the cooking categories must have the "main ingredient" clearly visible. Additional forms are available at the Recreation Dept., City Hall or at www.piedmont.ca.gov/harvestfestival.

Any items not picked up by 1:30pm will be eaten or recycled.

Due care will be taken to insure the safety of entries during the festival. However, neither the Recreation Department nor the Harvest Festival Committee can assume responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. Entries will be cleared at 1:30pm.

Judging
Judges for the contest will be knowledgeable in the areas they judge. Entrants are reminded of the objective of the Festival: to provide an opportunity for people to show the bounty of their gardens and kitchens, to provide a source of fun and to strengthen our sense of community.

Judging begins promptly at 10:00am and is not open to the public
