Please join the USS Hornet and the EastBay PlayReaders as we screen the dramatic reading of Ajax by Sophocles. This ancient Greek play is an early example of humanity grappling with Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). Our program will start at 1 PM.

We will first screen the play for the attendees. Afterwards we will discuss the meaning of the play and have a questions and answers session with the audience. On hand will be some of the actors, producers and directors of the play on hand, as well as PTS experts.

PTS is something that can impact anyone-military veterans, first responders, medical professionals but also almost anyone that suffers trauma. The USS Hornet is dedicated to trying to help PTS sufferers by shedding light on the nature of PTS and by making resources available to those that need them.
