OAKLAND — A 29-year-old man found dead Saturday in Redwood Regional Park committed suicide, officials said Tuesday.
The Oakland man was found after noon Saturday along the Golden Spike Trail in the park in the Oakland hills.
Additional details about the death of another man found Sunday night in a remote area of Anthony Chabot Regional Park have not been released by East Bay Regional Park District police but they have said earlier they do not believe foul play was involved.
Police don’t believe the deaths are connected.
