SUNNYVALE — A man was hit and killed Friday morning by a southbound Caltrain at the Sunnyvale station, according to the transit agency.
The man’s death marks Caltrain’s fourth fatality of 2017.
The incident happened at about 8:21 a.m., according to the transit agency.
As of late Friday afternoon, the man’s identity had not been released by the Santa Clara County coroner’s office.
None of the estimated 60 passengers on board the train were injured, according to Caltrain spokesman Dan Lieberman.
