DUBLIN — If the lines to Dublin’s new water park, the Wave, are too long during its opening Memorial Day weekend, there are plenty of other splashy water parks elsewhere throughout the Bay Area sure to quench the thirst of thrill-seekers.

Here’s a list of other places to check out:

Waterworld California, Concord 

Address: 1950 Waterworld Parkway, Concord, CA

At least nine water rides, a wave pool, a lazy river and family activity area pool. Attractions include the “Cliffhanger” a high-speed slide where one plummets 70 feet in under three seconds or the “Diablo Falls” where riders free fall six feet into a 10-foot deep catch pool. Must be 48 inches to ride.

Prices: General admission $38.99, under 48 inches, $28.99

Hours: Weekends in May starting at 10:30 a.m. Times vary by day and season, check website.

Prewett Waterpark, Antioch 
Address: 4701 Lone Tree Way, Antioch

Features at least six slides, three pools including a sports and lap pool, plus “Boulder Cove” an interactive area with three other slides, and a spray ground for young children.

Prices: Weekdays: $14, weekends/holidays: $16, after 4 p.m: $8.

Hours: Opens May 27 for the season, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Aqua Adventure Waterpark, Fremont

Address: 40500 Paseo Padre Parkway, Fremont

The park features a Splash Pool, Lazy River, the Oasis Pool and Bucket Bay, plus several slides with a height requirement of 48 inches.

Prices: General admission over 48 inches, non-residents: $19.99, Fremont resident: $18.99. Junior admission (under 48 inches), non-resident: $14.99, Fremont resident $13.99

Hours: May 27, 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Hours vary for rest of summer.

 Raging Waters, San Jose

Address: 2333 South White Road, San Jose

A large waterpark featuring a plethora of slides and pools including the “Bombs Away” body slide in an enclosed capsule, the “Barracuda Blaster” two-person tube slide, plus an activity pool, lazy river and even a “Pirate’s Cove” with a play structure.

Prices: General admission, $38.99, junior admission $28.99

Hours: May 27 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Hours vary for the rest of the season.

Silliman Family Aquatic Center, Newark 

Address: 6800 Mowry Ave., Newark

This 32,000 square-foot indoor waterpark features large water slides, a lazy river, 15-person warm water spa, an open lap pool and children’s activity pool. Height requirements of 48 inches to ride, and weight limit of 300 pounds.

Prices: Adult, $9, youth, $7, infant/toddler (under 2), $3
