San Jose is giving drivers the heads-up: A main freeway ramp and some downtown streets will be closed Saturday morning for a fun run.
The Color Run, starting at 8 a.m. next to SAP Center, will require the closure of Highway 87’s Alameda/Santa Clara Street ramps from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Several streets between the Race/Alameda intersection and Market Street will be closed as well.
Also in downtown San Jose, from Friday through Monday, FanimeCon takes over the Convention Center with cosplay, dancing, karaoke, speed dating.
Those who would rather eat than run can check out two other Memorial Day weekend events, both at San Jose’s History Park on Senter Road: the Taco Festival of Innovation on Saturday and Baconland on Sunday.
