Demi Moore decided to try her hand at fashion design for the Oscars in 1989. She should stick to acting: This bizarre ensemble came with a floral bustle, lace-trimmed bike shorts and a very low neckline.

For some reason, Kim Basinger didn't learn an important lesson from Demi Moore's red carpet disaster the year before. Her own design for the 1990 Oscars consisted of a half-dress/half-jacket look that also came with a missing shoulder and an extra-long glove.
