Amy Apostol, Massachusetts Institute of Technology soccer: The former Archbishop Mitty standout received first-team honors in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference as she helped her team reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division III tournament.

Hailey Balma, San Diego State soccer: The former Monte Vista standout, now in her fourth year at San Diego State, assisted on a goal in the Aztecs’ 3-0 victory over New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference tournament.

Landon Baty, Columbia football: The former St. Francis star, now a senior captain on his college team, intercepted his fourth pass of the season and sixth of his career as Columbia (7-2, 4-2) clinched its first winning season in Ivy League play in 21 years.

Maya Hoyer, Rice University soccer: The former Archbishop Mitty standout was named goalkeeper of the year in Conference USA, recording eight shutouts in 17 matches and posting a minuscule .92 goals against average.

Katie Eppard, Carleton College softball: The former Amador Valley standout was selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as a scholar-athlete for the 2016-17 school year. To qualify for the award, she had to maintain a 3.5 grade-point average through the school year. On the field, she hit .394 with 23 RBIs and received all-conference recognition.
