LOS ANGELES — For the seventh straight time, the Warriors beat the Clippers. This one was particularly demoralizing for a Clipper team that came in healthy, hopeful and remain desperate for a title this season, but just don’t seem to match up well against Golden State.

The Warriors didn’t even play that well offensively. Kevin Durant needed 17 shots for his 16 points. Stephen Curry — again in Staples Center! — didn’t hit a 3, finishing 0-of-8 from deep. The Warriors only made seven of their 30 threes as a team.

But it didn’t matter. They forced nine first quarter turnovers, sprinted out to a 37-17 lead and toyed with the Clippers the rest of the night, keeping the lead in a safe range while toggling the energy in and out. You can read the entire recap, plus watch some postgame video, by clicking here.

But if you’re here for the Warriors All-82 podcast, that’s embedded below.

Sports Illustrated’s Ben Golliver joins the show to discuss just how demoralizing this loss may have been for the Clippers, what makes the matchup so tough for them and then we bounce around the league a little before getting back to the Warriors and discussing how and why they’ve come together so quickly.
