Support for Bonnie and Jessyca

As many of you know, our beloved, fierce, Toulumne “Woman Wood Warrior”-Bonnie Taylor, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer a few months ago. Unfortunately, it very rapidly progressed and now, has only been given a few weeks to live. With this devastating and heart-wrenching news, Bonnie has been released from the hospital and will be at home on hospice with Jessyca, as they both prepare for their next respective transitions.
As one might imagine, this has taken a huge painful toll on Jessyca, both physically and mentally. Not only is losing a parent and knowing the transition is imminent challenging on its own, but Jessyca is faced with the incredible financial burden of managing their home and absorbing tremendous expenses in the long and short term of this painful journey. In addition to these immediate financial needs, Jessyca will have the enormous responsibility of keeping their family home - which has also been Jessyca's home her entire life. It is Bonnie and Jessyca's intention to keep the home, as well as give Jessyca one less thing to manage and concern herself with, as you can imagine she is holding way more than her share.
As Bonnie transitions, we ask everyone who knows and loves Bonnie and Jessyca to please contribute whatever you can towards this GoFundMe page and please share. Your financial gifts will help to cover the remaining expenses of hospice and other necessities that insurance will not cover, as well as mortgage and outstanding accounts owed by Bonnie’s estate. And lastly living expenses for Jessyca during this time as she is not working so that she can spend these last few weeks caring for her mom.
Jessyca will need major support from all of you in the months to come and thru this difficult grieving process. We hope to exceed the goal and provide Jessyca with a little extra to help cover additional costs on the road to healing from the loss of her mom and best friend. If you know Jessyca, you know Bonnie is her EVERYTHING. She is Jess’ “best friend and biggest supporter”. Bonnie’s most important and sacred job was being an outstanding single mother to Jessyca and giving her everything in her power to provide massive amounts of love and stability. We hope to make Bonnie proud and come together to lift Jessyca up during this time and help where and when you can-in whatever way that speaks to you while honoring Bonnie in the process!
