DANVILLE — Five small earthquakes rattled homes Tuesday, bringing to seven the number of small shakers felt in the Danville area in less than 36 hours.

The largest of the latest four quakes measured 3.0. The first in the cluster happened at 1:32 a.m. and measured 2.8. Next came 2.6 and 3.0 quakes, about 30 seconds apart at 4:25 a.m., and then a 2.9 shaker one minute later, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of damage.

The quakes followed two small ones that occurred in the same area early Monday, the first around 4:49 a.m. and measuring 2.9, according to the USGS. It was centered near Green Valley Road and Monte Vista High School.

The next quake measured 2.5 and came just after 6:30 a.m., in the same area.

A 2.8 quake struck at 6:16 p.m. just north of Oak Hill Park.
