If Ndamukong Suh is going to join the Raiders, he’ll do it without a face-to-face meeting with coach Jon Gruden.

The free agent defensive tackle has put off his scheduled visit to Alameda on Wednesday, according to NFL Media.

Suh was expected to visit the Raiders on a free agent tour that has included the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN and other outlets.

The Rams were his last visit in Thousand Oaks Tuesday, and ESPN reported Suh spent the day watching film with coaches. At some point Suh determined a short plane flight from Southern California to Oakland to visit the Raiders would not be necessary.

Multiple outlets reported Tuesday the Raiders were an entry into the Suh sweepstakes and that the defensive tackle would visit the team facility in Alameda.

The Raiders are anywhere from $5 to $10 million under the salary cap and would possibly need to release players or restructure deals with existing contracts to accommodate Suh, who was scheduled to make $26 million this year with the Miami Dolphins and was instead released.

When Suh was a free agent in 2015, he shopped his services to the highest bidder and Miami prevailed, with the Raiders being one of his suitors.

It’s not known whether Suh is seeking another longterm deal or will accept a one-year offer with incentives in order to get back into free agency next year.
