The achievements and inspiration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. were celebrated around the Bay area on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018. Inspired by the slain civil rights leader’s call for equality and social justice for all, many spent part of their day committing their time and labor to community improvement projects, or marching in rallies in support of the ideals espoused by King and learning something new by interacting with people unlike themselves.
