Ndamukong Suh, who said no to the Raiders in free agency three years ago, is giving the Silver & Black another shot to sign him.
Adam Schefter reported Tuesday that Suh has lined up a visit with the Raiders on Wednesday.
The 31-year-old defensive tackle was recently released by the Dolphins and has already had free-agent talks with the Rams, Saints and Titans. Suh,, a five-time Pro Bowler, will likely have to settle for far less than the $26 million salary Miami escaped from by releasing him.
Suh would probably have to agree to a one-year, incentive-laden deal for the Raiders to have a realistic chance of signing him.
Oakland already re-signed Justin Ellis, last year’s starting nose tackle, at the outset of the free agency season last week. However, a motivated Suh would be a big upgrade over Ellis on the field. Plus, the thought of dealing with a Raiders defensive line featuring Suh, Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin would be a nightmare for opposing offenses.
And you can count Marshawn Lynch’s mom among those who would love to see Suh in Oakland.
come on to the town we got room for you !!!😁😉@NdamukongSuh

Since being the No. 2 overall pick in the 2010 draft by the Lions, Suh has played with a mean streak and developed a reputation as perhaps the nastiest player in the NFL. The 6-foot-4, 307-pounder has 51 1/2 sacks in his eight-year career. He had 4 1/2 sacks and 48 total tackles in 16 games with the Dolphins last season.
After some intense talks with the Raiders in 2015, Suh left the Lions and signed a massive six-year, $114 million contract with Miami, the richest deal for a defensive player in NFL history.
Not securing Suh’s services may have been a break for the Raiders, who instead were able to add other players that offseason, including center Rodney Hudson, the top-rated interior lineman in free agency. Hudson has continued his Pro Bowl-level play in Oakland after signing a five-year, $44 million deal in 2015.
