Flowers are blooming throughout Marin County signaling the start of an early spring with unusually warm weather for this time of year.

Thanks to recent rain storms immediately followed by rising temperatures, the ground is prime for producing perennials. But don’t get too used to the warm weather as a there’s a 30 percent chance of rain Friday night and Saturday morning. Diana Henderson, a forecaster with the National Weather Service, said “February might be in line to be a warmer than normal month.”
