Communications Hill, 9 a.m. June 30 A male on a bike was attacked by a person who approached on foot and started yelling at him. His injuries were not life-threatening.
4100 block of North First Street, 12:15 p.m. June 30 A male stabbed by someone he did not know was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
East William and South 19th streets, 9:50 p.m. July 2 A bicyclist was robbed at gunpoint by a male whose face was covered with a bandanna.
Guadalupe Creek Trail near the Children’s Discovery Museum, 8:57 a.m. July 2 A man who was stabbed told responding officers that the two men responsible also robbed him.
San Carlos and South Montgomery streets, 9:53 a.m. July 2 A man who assaulted a female and took her property was located nearby and arrested.
South White Road and Glen Donegal Drive, 10:04 a.m. July 2 A female was robbed by two people who demanded her property, assaulted her when she refused and then ran to a waiting vehicle.
1200 block of Hanchett Avenue, 3:57 p.m. July 2 Alerted by a resident who reported seeing a suspicious person and a suspicious vehicle at a neighbor’s house, arriving officers determined the vehicle was stolen and went after the male, who scaled several fences trying to get away. Apprehended soon after, the male was arrested and booked into jail for residential burglary and auto theft.

Murchison Drive, 7:22 p.m. July 2 A person waiting for a pizza to be delivered called police, said that when the delivery driver arrived a neighbor took it. An officer responded, determined the person’s complaint was unfounded, that the neighbor also ordered pizza.
Murchison Drive, 8:03 p.m. July 2 A person wrongly accused of pizza theft reported being upset.

100 block of South California Avenue, July 1 Packages were reported stolen from five residences.
4020 Fabian St., 10:45 a.m. July 1 A break-in was reported, but nothing appeared missing.
250 Hamilton Ave., 9:20 a.m. Sunday Chairs at City Hall were vandalized.
SANTA CLARA
2700 block of El Camino Real, 5:23 p.m. June 29 An employee was knocked to the ground by three people who ran out of a store with stolen merchandise and sped off in a silver Nissan.
3100 block of College Boulevard, 11:31 p.m. June 29 A purse, passport and jewelry were stolen from a vehicle. Nine additional auto burglaries in the area, which included the 4100 block of Great America Parkway and the 3900 block of Freedom Circle, were also reported.
2300 block of Park Avenue, 7 a.m.-12:24 p.m. July 1 A residence was burglarized. Multiple items taken included a television, gun, jewelry, tools and prescription medication.

Cebalo Lane, 8:06 a.m. Saturday Police were unable to locate a man in his 20s who walked onto a person’s property requesting help, then complied when he was asked to leave.

Old County Road, 2:33 p.m. Sunday A vehicle was reported stolen.
Tahoe Drive, 1:49 p.m. Monday A male who noticed a man in bushes underneath an open window at a residence told police that when he spoke to him, the man ran to a gray Ford Focus with a female inside and sped off.

University and Purdue avenues, 9:57 a.m. Friday A 26-year-old man in possession of stolen property was arrested.
1100 block of Merrill Street, 6:26 p.m. Friday A Nissan pickup truck was stolen.
700 block of Pierce Road, 5:46 p.m. Sunday A man, 25, was arrested on assault charges.

2780 Mowry Ave., 9:27 a.m. July 2 A 40-year-old Newark man seen exposing himself behind Peet’s Coffee was contacted and arrested.
200 block of East Warren Avenue, 8 a.m.-12:20 p.m. July 2 Medication was stolen from a residence. Entry was made by someone who pried open the front door.

100 block of Kelly Avenue, 6:20 a.m. July 2 A vehicle was stolen overnight.
1500 block of Hawser Lane, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday Mail theft was reported after birthday cards were received with $100 missing.
Unit block of Miramontes Point Road, 5:15-5:20 p.m. Friday An attempt to steal a vehicle was made by a person in possession of an old valet receipt. When asked for a vehicle description, the person ran off.
